Trial of Blossoms5Praise and Blame
From the journal
The students preparing a farewell banquet for their master are arguing heatedly over what to serve. Wait. Did someone say wine? Now that's your area of expertise!
He tasted the nectar of palace feasts, always keeping an eye on the Emperor's throne. Now drinking deep 'midst the fields and the weeds, he wonders to whom this bitter brew's known. Drunk, he now scoffs at the Emperor's might, envying the fisher and woodcutter's life. What use are the sages against village ale, when right and wrong melt in a drunken smile?
Having tasted jade dew at palace feasts, he saw through officialdom and robes of state. Returning to the fields to drink alone, he asks the wild grass: who truly knows the finest flavor?

When it's done (spoiler)
The Inkbound Order disciples are organizing a send-off feast for Dean Fan Li, but they can't agree on the drinks. They finally settle on Imperial Wine. You volunteer to brew it yourself, but when that falls through, a series of misadventures leads you to procure the real deal instead. The banquet is a resounding success. However, after the guests scatter, you find a drunken Fan Li slumped by the side of the road. Hearing him mutter that "Imperial wine doesn't hold a candle to cheap Qingzhou brew," it dawns on you that his prestigious past in the royal court was a life lived entirely against his will.
