Lvl 91 Sword Trial — Wolf Maiden & Snake Doctor

Before you queue

Read this once, before your first Wolf Maiden pull.

Learn one technique before anything else

  • Soaring Spin at ~95% of the Flying Rain cast bar skips the slow debuff and the wolf transformation entirely. Akira Y says it makes two talents much easier — and it's likely the key to a third.
  • Never run into teammates while transformed. Wolf collisions apply a vulnerability debuff to them.

Wolf form is a tool and a trap

Blood Mist transforms you: you run forward automatically, bleed HP, and can only steer left and right. That extra speed is the recommended way to dodge Flying Rain.

But Talent 1-3 requires that nobody transforms outside the sanctioned mechanic — so the beginner strategy and the talent pull against each other. See the Talent run view.

The recommended Flying Rain strategy may fail Talent 1-3Akira Y's safe route is to deliberately step into the Blood Mist and become a wolf for the extra movement speed. But 1-3 requires nobody to transform outside the sanctioned mechanic. If Flying Rain doesn't count as sanctioned, the two are incompatible — and the Soaring Spin route, which skips transformation entirely, is how you'd do both.
The “-3” rule holds for three of fourWolf Maiden 1-3 and 2-3 and Snake Doctor 2-3 are all stated as impossible in AI assist. Snake Doctor 1-3 is never stated either way — but it's conspicuously absent from the closing list of AI-friendly talents.
