“Connect the world through craft and techniques.”

Seek truth, reach the Haven above. With compass and square, measure the world below. Spare no self, and hold the good of all supreme. Tire not in service, and help all people alike.

What it takes

Arrive at Hidden MountainComplete Quest "Mountain Unveiled"

Where to start

Rumor speaks of a hidden Haven, cut off from the world and forgotten by time. Head to the Incomparable Tavern in Kaifeng and find the storyteller. He may know where the long-hidden Mohist sect can be found.

Heron, the guardian of the Cliff Pass, acknowledges your resolve. She has drafted a letter to the Equilibrium Hall in Mohist City, where Elder Stork awaits your arrival.

When it isn't taking disciples

The sect's menu can show this instead:

Mohist Hill retreats from the world, and the Initiation clues remain unknown.

Invitation letters2

From Elder Stork Mohist Hill

Our messenger bird brought news of a gifted artisan. Eager for such talent, I penned this letter overnight to reach you. Across countless generations, the Mohists have shared a single dream: to build a promised haven in the world. I hope you will join us in fulfilling this thousand-year aspiration. I await our meeting at Equilibrium Hall in Mohist City.

From Master

My dear disciple, Since joining the Mohist Hill, I have gained much. Hearing of an open spot for disciple recommendation, I thought of you instantly. Do not let this chance pass you by. Bring this letter to Equilibrium Hall in Mohist City and seek out Elder Stork to discuss your initiation.

Universal Love and Mutual BenefitMain rule

Universal Love

Universal love brings order; mutual hatred breeds chaos. The gates are open. Mohist disciples must aid others by building or gifting items.

Retain the ability to hide your identity without compulsion. Disciples may switch back to the Mohist Hill sect and will no longer be coerced by ambushes. Universal love knows no bias. Gifting others—whether they are mechanical creations, wine for the thirsty, or peach blossoms for the sorrowful. For Mutual benefit: place diagram or building components in other players' worlds or Homestead. Practice Universal Love and Mutual Benefit at least once a week, or lose 10 Precept Value.

Universal love brings order; mutual hatred breeds chaos. Now that the gates are open, Mohist disciples should offer strength to those in need and wisdom to those seeking guidance. Treat others as yourself, and bring love and benefit to all under heaven.

What the ranks unlock

Artisan's Touch

From rank 1 · Apprentice

Disciples of the Mohist excel in construction and assembly. They can design blueprints with more placeable components, and they can further upgrade the Divinecraft gloves to unlock Divinecraft fusion effects.

Boundless Creation

The art of crafting is ever-changing. Only by understanding materials can one achieve infinity from a single source. In free build mode, Mohist disciples gain increased component and diagram storage limits.

Pinnacle of Divinecraft

True creation relies on the harmony between heaven and man. Honoring spirits and exalting the worthy leads to the pinnacle of craftsmanship. As Mohist Hill Research Value increases, Mohist disciples gradually unlock the crafting and gifting of Divinecraft enhancement components. Using these components permanently boosts the corresponding Divinecraft effects. However, the martial world is perilous; beware of wicked scoundrels. If knocked out, you will be sent to a remote exile to craft Divinecraft enhancement components for others for free. Fellow disciples must fend for themselves.

Artisan Titles

From rank 1 · Apprentice

Mohist disciples are granted five titles based on their theoretical knowledge and practical achievements. These titles are: Apprentice, Adept Builder, Field Pioneer, Waterworks Master, and Great Mohist. Disciples who attain the title of Waterworks Master or above are widely respected throughout the jianghu.

Cast Me a Feather

From rank 1 · Apprentice

The Mohist path reaches for the skies, yet it never turns away from the troubles before it. Since the late Tang Dynasty, the Yellow River has breached its banks over eighty times. With a desire to aid the world, Mohist disciples came to regard those capable of taming the river’s disasters as the greatest minds of their age. All Waterworks Masters are eligible for promotion to Great Mohist, with nominations submitted by Mohist Hill disciples. Each disciple has four feather votes: three through anonymous review and one through public review. The ten Waterworks Masters receiving the most votes will be elevated to Great Mohists.

Grain Exchange

From rank 1 · Apprentice

Currency from outside the mountain cannot be used here. Mohist disciples use Mohist Tallies to exchange goods. Alongside shops in the marketplace, there is also a special trading venue that was originally established for grain exchanges but gradually became a place for trading rare treasures. As disciples gain higher status within the sect, more treasures become available to them. Disciples of other sects may also visit the Universal Love Shop to purchase certain items.

Secluded Reputation

From rank 2 · Journeyman

Though Mohist disciples rarely seek recognition beyond the mountain, tales of their craftsmanship still find their way into the world. The greater their mastery, the more renown they earn. Your status within Mohist Hill directly affects the Reputation gained from Sect Commands. Waterworks Masters and Great Mohists can gain more Reputation.

Born of Craft

From rank 5 · Grand Artisan

Those who become the most outstanding artisans of the sect and attain the titles of Waterworks Master and Great Mohist will earn the admiration of their fellow disciples.

Master of Crafts

Waterworks Masters and Great Mohists represent the highest levels of craftsmanship within Mohist Hill. To other disciples, these artisans stand as towering peaks, inspiring boundless admiration.

Skyward Soar

As the most skilled artisans in Mohist Hill, Waterworks Masters and Great Mohists can unlock a new pose: Soaring High, summoning a wooden eagle that carries them into the sky.

Research Patent

Not tied to a rank

Mohist Hill disciples must submit a weekly craft thesis. Each thesis is automatically published every Monday and grants a set amount of Research Value. A disciple's weekly Research Value and Jianghu Reputation together make up the Sect Merit for status advancement. Besides publishing your own thesis, you can also earn a share of the additional Research Value gained through another disciple's research. If both master and apprentice are Mohist Hill disciples, the master receives 25% of the additional Research Value from the apprentice's weekly thesis. If you become a co-author of another disciple's thesis, you receive 25% of the additional Research Value added to that thesis during the week.
