Tang Xinci knew hardship from a young age. In her youth, she ventured alone to Lone Cloud, where she broke through the Water Mountain Formation and made her talents known to the world. She thereafter departed Lone Cloud and placed herself under the tutelage of Lin Xiansheng, through whom she entered the Inkbound Order. Though a woman, she is learned beyond measure, gifted in both letters and wit, and possesses an unyielding spirit. She has earned the high praise of those within the Hanging Blade, and by the sharpness of her tongue has claimed the foremost seat among the "Four Silver Tongues" - a name that has carried far and wide across the Jianghu. Not yet thirty years of age, she has already risen to stand among the Ten Sages - what heights may she yet reach? Yet with her roots still shallow, dissenting voices within the Inkbound Order have not been stilled.
