The percentage you see isn't the same number the other side sees.

Your match percentage is scored against your own stated criteria — leave most fields blank and you can still hit 100% against a guild that satisfies what little you did fill in. The guild sees a separate number, scored the same way but against everything the guild itself asked for. The same underlying score, normalized two different ways.
