Raging Tides

“Tides relentless as the ocean, one spear shatters silence, echoing through all directions.”

The Raging Tides, a sect founded in the military, stand as outcasts both in the imperial court and in the jianghu. For a century they've guarded the Northwest, not out of motive for profit, but out of faith. Never burdening the kingdom with calls for reinforcements, their valor shakes the barren lands and rivals the legends of old.

True masters need not raise an army to secure a nation. Their mere presence is a deterrent, their will more resolute than the sages of old.

Who can claim to have tasted the jianghu, if they haven't first endured the scorching trials of life?!

What it takes

Nine Wines Become OneMethods of Drinking

You can drink by participating in activities: Pitch Pot, Drinking Contest, Madiao Cards, Scholars' Hearth. They can also drink using emotes, mystic skills, or through open-world interactions and using wine items.

Where to start

The Raging Tides has always admired bold and righteous heroes. Anyone with a chivalrous heart and a generous capacity for wine is welcomed with open arms. Go to the Northern Vow Ruins to complete the Echoes of Old Battles quest, then obtain entry-related information by honoring the heroic spirits.

Please pour the "Yanyun Oath" wine upon the ground to honor the heroic spirits.

When it isn't taking disciples

The sect's menu can show this instead:

Recently, at the First Jar Banquet, everyone in the Raging Tides—from the Sect Master down to the youngest disciples—drank themselves into a stupor. As a result, the sect is currently unable to accept any new members.

From Raging Tides, Siegebreaker General

Watched you for days—can drink, can fight, tough as nails soaked in wine! Got the same fire I had back then! Raging Tides takes no cowards, no fancy rituals. I've prepared jars of Mengdaolyu—dare to clink bowls, and from then on, we drink together, bleed together! If you drain them and still stand—my cellar's finest is yours to pick!
