Ren Feixiang's Unfinished Notes

The Shengle Sect was a martial arts faction situated in Qinghe. Its founder, Wei Shengle, traveled to India in his youth, where he comprehended a supreme inner mantra and attained peerless martial prowess. In the past, when the Khitans invaded and the Central Plains fell into chaos, Shengle took in the children of refugees as disciples. He aided those in peril and his name as a righteous hero spread far and wide. The people of that era compared his sect to the "Eight Talents of Hedong," passing down a saying: "With a ninth member added to the Hedong eight, the Khitan cowards flee into the night." Yet, not long after, the Shengle Sect vanished from the martial world without a trace. It is rumored that their lineage still survives, hidden deep within the wild mountains.
