About
The Tigers in Chains was once the elite force under the renowned general Ye Wanshan. Steadfast in their creed to protect the people and defend the cities they were a stalwart line of defense against the Khitan and a shield to the realm. However, during Emperor Shizong's reign, the court refused to wage war on the Khitan. Feeling their mission betrayed and their loyalty discarded, the Tigers in Chains turned to darkness. Following Ye Wanshan's order, they slaughtered an entire city and pinned the blame on the Khitan, hoping to force the imperial court into action. Wracked with guilt, the soldiers ultimately chose to bind themselves in chains and enter the Pagoda of Karma with their general, seeking redemption for their unforgivable crime.
But now, troubling news stirs once more. General Ye Wanshan has been released, and his whereabouts are unknown.
Main operations are in the Yanbei region, with some members trapped in the Bodhi Sea.
