About
In days past, Chai Rong gathered a dozen righteous warriors atop Moonveil Mountain, forging an alliance known as
The Hanging Blade. These bladesmen lurked in the jianghu, united by their oath to hang justice above tyranny and cleanse the realm. Their shadow touched every pivotal event: the three campaigns against Southern Tang, the melting of Buddha statues to mint coins, the northern expeditions to reclaim Yanyun, the Breeze Post assassinations... Yet after Emperor Shizong's death, the Hanging Blade vanished, some dead, some in hiding.
Their base lay at Qinghe Palace of Annals, but their reach extended across the realm.
