Lost Printing Block
A printing block found inexplicably in a bird's nest. Its smooth edges and warm sheen suggest it has been handled often. The ink has long dried, and the raised characters have been worn faint by time. "Without knowing destiny, one cannot be a noble person; without knowing ritual, one cannot find a footing; without understanding words, one cannot truly know others." These lines come from The Analects, among The Nine Classics.
