Through their combined singing and martial movements, the brothers gradually developed a broad-sweeping martial art from shadow puppetry. When the country fell into chaos, they enlisted to resist the enemy, joining forces with elite warriors to form the "Eight Talents of Hedong," protecting Qinghe through the national crisis. Though the land was finally stabilized, those who fought alongside them have long passed, forgotten by most. Now, the brothers often perform shadow puppetry by the shores of Northern Vow, a ritual that honors both their past sufferings and the spirits of the fallen.
