About this tool

What the Character Builder does

The Character Builder is a build planner and damage calculator for Where Winds Meet. Put in your character as it is, or as you'd like it to be, and it shows your stats, your Cultivation and how hard each hit lands, then ranks the gear rolls worth chasing next.

How to use it

  1. Set your level and the Solo Mode level you've reached.
  2. Add your gear: all ten pieces.
  3. Pick your two martial arts and four Inner Ways, then up to eight Mystic Skills.
  4. Tick your talents and Melodies of Peace on Character, then open Damage to see each hit.

Questions

What does the builder work out?
From your level, attributes, gear, martial arts, Inner Ways, Mystic Skills, talents and Melodies of Peace, it works out your stats, your Cultivation, and the damage each hit does as a Normal, Critical, Affinity or Abrasion hit.
How does it choose what to roll next?
The Gear tab's What to roll next ranks every step for your gear by the damage it adds, or the survival if that's what you're building for, and shows the best next step on each piece.
What can I test my damage against?
An enemy by level, a training dummy, a custom target or another player. A rotation can be set by casts, timed from cooldowns, or follow your own sequence.
Can I save and compare builds?
Builds are saved to your account when you're signed in, or on this device when you're not. Pin one in Compare builds, change your gear or picks, and it shows what changed and what it did.
Can I share a build?
Share gives you a link that opens your build in the builder, with a card for Discord, Reddit and other sites. Signed-in members can publish a build for others to try and suggest changes to.
Is it official?
No. Where Guilds Meet is a free, fan-made site, not affiliated with the game's developer or publisher.
