Wind sweeps over mountains and rivers in grandeur, and the jianghu has its own echoes. Where the wind meets, more good news arrives: At the CPOPwave 2026 China Trend IP Launch Night, which has just concluded, Where Winds Meet was officially selected as one of the CPOPwave Top 10 Outstanding Overseas Expansion Cases of the Year! CPOPwave is an annual multimedia cultural project hosted by the China Media Group (CMG) and focused on the global dissemination of China's trend IPs. Through its mechanisms of annual observation, data-based selection, cross-category group showcases, and industry connections, it systematically presents the international communication performance and industrial development trends of China's trend IPs.

It is the support of one hundred million wanderers around the world that has let the fledgling swallow ride the wind, soar, and cross mountains and seas. The story of Chinese wuxia is also resonating with more and more people worldwide. Once again, we sincerely thank every wanderer for your appreciation. Tomorrow, we will also send a small gift, including a commemorative accessory, as a token of our gratitude! The Swallow-and-Cloud wanderer's road has not yet reached its end, and we hope to keep walking it side by side with you all! It has been a little over a week since the wanderers arrived in Weiyang City. Above the sea, there is decadent extravagance. Beneath it, there is immortal bliss. You must have sampled each of them by now. But the more you see, the clearer a feeling becomes, both delightful and chilling: the pleasures here seem to have no end. This week, yet another new area in Weiyang City is about to be unlocked, bringing new wonders and new pleasures. The pleasure to be found here is tied to fragrance:
New Area in Weiyang City
「Huaxu Forest」
Seek not, probe not, for the trees are deep and the forest dark.
Seek not, probe not, for the melody confuses the heart.

*Effects are still in pre-research and subject to the final release.
"Amid this nocturne I hear the willow-breaking song; who would not feel longing for their old home?" In the poem, "hear" (闻) means to listen. Here, though, it must be read another way, as "to smell."
This [Huaxu Forest] lies at the bottom of the sea, yet it is overgrown with willows. Countless deep-blue branches hang down, carrying waves of strange fragrance on the wind. Those who breathe it in feel their minds ease, and in a trance they seem to see what their hearts desire, lingering and unable to leave, unable to stop.
Such pleasure, of course, does not come free. The cheaper spots are in the low ground by the water, where an extra fee buys a seat beneath a tree on the shore. The truly wealthy, however, live on the floating isles above the forest. They need only push open a window, and in a house clad in gold and jade, reclining on a soft couch of gold thread and sipping coral wine, they can savor the fragrance and the view.
Venture a little deeper into the forest and you will see the fragrance gatherers. With cloth covering their faces, they scrape fragrant dew from the branches and dry it into incense powder, which is supplied to every corner of the city. The willow branches hang down there just like jellyfish tentacles. After being in a daze for so long, the gatherers themselves probably can no longer tell what it is that they are brushing past with their hands.

*Effects shown are still in pre-development. Please refer to the final release. If you know the right people, there is an "even more fragrant place" hidden in the woods. Legend has it that anyone who can breathe in a single stick of incense there will be happier than the immortals. It is said that while you inhale the incense there, in a daze, you may look up and see a huge crescent moon hanging above the willow branches, flickering and drifting, seemingly near yet far. This is a wonder that, as they say, "you must see once in your life for it to have been worth living." Yet those who burn incense here are often too absorbed to admire the sight. Their minds and eyes are already filled with what their hearts desire. Since the obsession in their hearts has found fulfillment here, who would still care about a moon in the sea?

*Effects shown are still in pre-research. Please refer to the final release.
Bright is the moon over the sea, hazy as foam. Pure and flawless, yet it never waxes or wanes.
Bright is the moon over the sea, hazy as rain. Faint, it fades away; where will it go?
All-New Field Boss
「 Moonrest 」

A moon rises from beneath the surface of the sea, larger than a fishing boat. It lies silent among the ink-dark waves, rocking gently with the swell, as though the whole ocean were nothing but a bed, and the moon were sleeping soundly upon it. Whoever touches it may sleep soundly too. Moonlight settles over the careless visitor as softly as a gauze veil, like a mother's embrace, bringing a strange sense of peace. No one, no living thing, can refuse such an embrace, or refuse an eternal, tranquil, beautiful dream. Later it was carried to a certain place, where the people were willing to give up everything they had in exchange for one beautiful dream, one long sleep. They gave it a name: 「Pillow Moon」. A moon in the sea, one that can be used as a pillow to fall asleep.
New Wanderers of the Four Seas
This week, two more Wanderers of the Four Seas are in Weiyang City, waiting to cross blades with the Wanderer. One of them has bowed to one hundred and twenty-one masters in his lifetime. Anyone who has beaten him and was willing to offer him a word or two of guidance counts. He sometimes even deliberately holds back the force of his blade, just as you must crouch down to lift a heavy load; by losing to others, he learns more. With a pair of sharp eyes and a honey-coated tongue, his swordsmanship has gradually grown from callow to mature and versatile. Should you be lucky enough to hear him say, "Might I have the honor of receiving the Wanderer's guidance?", do give him some good pointers. The next time you meet, he'll have to change his tune.

*Effects shown are still in pre-research; please refer to the final release. The other one has white hair and withered hands, frail with age, yet she wields her blade as nimbly as if she were in her prime. To take revenge with her own hands, she mastered illusion arts, and honed her blade speed as well. Everything was finally ready, but her enemy had already died somewhere else. She poured everything she had into her blade. If her life were a long road, her enemy would be at the end of it. But now the enemy is dead, and not by her blade. In that case, how is she to go on down this road? In the illusions she killed her enemy thousands upon thousands of times, and that intangible enemy also devoured her time and her youth. In this encounter, perhaps the Ranger can help her find a way out.

*Preview of work in progress; final in-game version prevails. In ancient times, the Yellow Emperor dreamed of wandering through Huaxu, and now this dreamland of immortals need not be sought far away. Also arriving this week alongside [Huaxu Forest] are new Wanderer Deeds, strongholds, and much more. More secrets of Weiyang City will be revealed gradually in future updates. For more previews, stay tuned for upcoming news, Wanderers! Since the first season of Campus Tianya Travelers began, Yanji has visited more than thirty universities across the country with campus Wanderers, taking part in more than fifty gatherings and leaving behind many memorable moments.

The jianghu is never far away, and we'll meet again on campus. Thank you, wanderers, for coming to the gathering, where shared interests found kindred spirits and every encounter found an echo. Campus Wanderers is about to begin its second season. On the next leg of the journey, we hope to see even more wanderers on campus and to keep writing the jianghu stories of classmates together.
