High above, the sage statue overlooks miles of Qingzhou with robes billowing in the wind, while the Clarion Chime hangs silent atop the peak, awakening its thunderous voice only for ancient rites.
Chants of learning echo across all seasons, with classics, history, and law each finding their place. Aromas drift from the Dining Hall from dawn to dusk, tides swell beyond the Tidegazing Pavilion, and lively chatter fills the Noble Courtyard. Crowning it all is Tianyi Tower, truly the premier library in the realm, housing thousands of shelves and countless scrolls from ancient bamboo slips to imperial prints. Within a single tower, millennia of wisdom are preserved.
Penglai claims no divine blessings or effortless heavens. Every brick, hall, and pavilion was built by hand, preserved through scholarship, and passed down through ambition by the Inkbound Order. The world may call the martial realm vast and solitary, yet beneath these eaves, all share a single roof.
True learning culminates in action. With the academy gates now open, Wanderers may knock upon the doors of this millennia-old sanctum. Inkbound Order Updates
Promotion Path
Higher ranks in the Inkbound Order are now available. Wanderers can now undertake the [Core Disciple Trial] to attain the [Mentor] rank and obtain the [Inkbound Invitation]. The selection of the [Dean] is based purely on merit. Wanderers can advance through scholarship, teaching, or debate.
Academy Courses
The Inkbound Order now offers Wandering Paths Courses such as [Scripture Recitation] and [Calligraphy Practice], taught by guest scholars from across the realm. In [Scripture Recitation], immerse yourself in rhythmic chanting, but watch out for peers suffering qi deviation: douse them with water to snap them back! [Calligraphy Practice] takes place by the ink pond, where Wanderers can grab a mop to trace scripts, write freely, or paint together. Check the [Inkbound Charter] in the book interface for more study activities across the academy!
Sect Contests
Excel in both martial and literary arts to climb the leaderboard! The Cuju Field and its surroundings are the prime gathering spots between classes. Take part in local activities to earn points for your sect and see which faction reigns supreme on the leaderboard!
Dorm Patrol
Inkbound Order disciples and Visiting Disciples can stay in the academy Dormitory and invite up to three friends to share a room. Roommates can answer roll calls and deliver meals for one another. With the elderly dorm supervisor in frail health, a dependable hand is needed to take over dorm inspections. Log suspicious items and report back after patrol to receive fair rewards or penalties. In multiplayer Dormitory mode, team up for multiplayer inspections! Disciples can inspect rooms or hide items of their own. Buy fun trinkets from vendors to decorate your room, but beware: stashing Prohibited Items may invite a sudden visit from the Dorm Inspector!
Dining Hall Cooking
Meal Times: 07:00–19:00 (Chen hour to You hour). To support students and teachers, all enrolled Inkbound Order scholars can claim five free meals weekly. Food does not come easy, so practice frugality. If you need extra support, take up work in the kitchen! Three cooking stalls are currently available: Stir-fry Stall, Grain Stall, and Grill Stall.

According to order records, before former Laureate Wei Renpu entered public service, he practiced calligraphy by the ink pond late into the night. With his cup emptied and the ink still wet, inspiration struck. Sweeping his brush across the page, he devised a mystic skill infused with calligraphic grace and powerful strokes to wash away superficiality and capture the cosmos.
In Combat: Cast [Inkwash Splendor] to dash forward, attacking repeatedly with your brush to deal damage. Hitting an enemy with the first strike allows a follow-up attack within 3 seconds. Out of Combat: [Inkwash Splendor] switches to the Ink Splash branch, allowing you to generate Calligraphy Treasures and customize them in the Calligraphy Treasure settings page.

Skill Details
In the Battle of Zhongdu Bridge, Lin Xiansheng and Xiao Heyi stood shoulder to shoulder against the enemy. That night, under a moonless sky, they fought a desperate retreat as comrades fell and banners burned. Xiao Heyi covered the rear while Lin Xiansheng guarded the wounded. Facing overwhelming odds, the two moved as one: one sword struck with sweeping majesty, while the other darted like fine silk to target vital points. Entrusting their lives to each other, their interlaced sword light formed an impenetrable cocoon. Though Lin Xiansheng was later afflicted by a rare poison that left him with only three strikes in this lifetime, the martial world still honors the legend of Lin and Xiao standing together. Since that battle, this art has remained an unmatched echo. On moonlit nights, two swords hum softly behind Essence Retreat, recalling their bond of life and death: the Champion wields his blade with full might so that the Laureate never has to strike with full force again.
Solo Skill: Cast [Dear Sword] to wield the Skybound Sword, blending sword and fan strikes to damage enemies and gather Sword Essence. Landing the first three strikes unlocks subsequent attacks upon reactivation. The final strike unsheathes the Skybound Sword, releasing a surge of sword qi that inflicts massive damage. Rapport Combo: One sword moves with sweeping grandeur; the other pierces with pinpoint precision. In Non-Arena Environments on open and flat ground, casting the first stage sends an invite to nearby party members equipped with this skill. Upon accepting, they will draw the Earthbound Sword to assist in unsheathing the Skybound Sword, unleashing the Rapport Combo.
