Those in the know will tell you that beyond the sea lie not only immortal mountains, but also the "[Weiyang City]." Legend has it that its roads are paved with gold, its houses are built of gold, and even the rivers run with gold. Bring back just a little, and you'll have a fortune most people never see in a lifetime. And unlike the immortal mountains, shrouded in misty waves and nearly impossible to find, the [Weiyang City] can be seen and touched. On every new moon and full moon, a Golden Ship from Weiyang City docks at the shore to carry its fortunate guests to the richest place under heaven. "Board the ship, strike it rich, and enjoy wealth until old age." The Golden Ship has sailed through countless dreams of riches, and this time, it has stopped before the Wanderers. On October 23, the all-new themed region [Weiyang City] will officially open! As another themed region following Qingzhou, [Weiyang City] likewise has a distinctive theme and a scale second only to a major region. Its rich content, including four sub-regions, an independent side story, two Guardians, three Legends, five Wild Bosses, and more, will be unlocked progressively starting October 23. Although [Weiyang City] is also in the Jiangnan region, it has an entirely different local culture and customs. Setting out from Hangzhou Harbor, Wanderers will follow the faint traces left by an old acquaintance to this place and begin a bizarre, ever-shifting journey full of intrigue. As for which parts of the trip are real and which are mere illusions, Wanderers will have to set foot on the island and see for themselves. With riches comes freedom from worry, yet the land of riches is hard to find. Honored guest, welcome to Weiyang City!

All-New Themed Region:

The First "Maritime Wonderland," Face to Face with Marvels of Local Culture

Boundless Revelry? The eyes chase after the five colors like hounds; the ears chase after empty sounds like crows.

The main island of Weiyang City is [Changle Island]. On your first visit to the island, Wanderers will surely feel what is meant by "wealth as vast as the sea without shore, grandeur as mighty as tides pounding the coast." Surrounded by the glowing sea, this dazzling island stands alone as the tides ceaselessly sweep the world's gold and jade ashore, heaping them into the brightest grain of gold in the vast boundless ocean.

*For concept display only. Final results are subject to actual in-game appearance. The entire island has become a vast, resplendent pavilion complex. Gambling houses, marketplaces, brokerages, guesthouses, and more—nothing is lacking. Honored guests who arrive here will find food, clothing, and entertainment all arranged for them, truly making them feel at home. Mother-of-pearl pillars, gold-inlaid tiles, and pearl curtains can be seen everywhere. The Merfolk sing and dance all night without pause, and from time to time their tears turn into pearls and roll down, free for any honored guest to take. At banquets, golden cups are all thrown into the sea for anyone to retrieve, and gold coins even rain down from above, in what is known as "Heaven's Golden Rain." The most extravagant sight lies at the very top of the Merchant Guild: there moors a massive ship laden with luminous pearls—for every additional member whose wealth rivals that of a nation, one more pearl is hung. Year after year, even at night, it glows as bright as day, and the long night never ends. This is where the name "Weiyang" (Never-Ending) comes from.

But these are just the tip of the iceberg.

Beneath the sea lies an even larger and more expansive cluster of floating islands than the one above. This will be the first time Wanderers can truly "roam" through an underwater world.

Pavilions rise tier upon tier in the water, with roofs tiled in glazed tile and coral inlaid with gold, avenues and alleys lined with mansions, and terraces of noble households, just like the legendary wonderland of [Twelve Jade Terraces]. If the joys above the water are the greatest pleasures of the mortal world, then what awaits our honored guests below are the ultimate bliss of the immortals.

*Effects shown are from pre-research and are subject to the final release. "Buy back spring and the flowers never fade; buy the moon to stay and the night grows long. Buy sorrows away and you never age; buy years upon years of roaming here." In the [Boundless Vault], every splendor is yours to enjoy, and goods of every kind are to be found. Delicacies from sea and mountain, pearls, jade, and silks are hardly worth mentioning. Rumors, connections, even a [Painted Skin] or a [Fate]… all can be had with one lavish toss of gold. As for the [Mirage Tower], it is said to be brimming with rare treasures, and it claims that "everything that ever existed in the mortal world is gathered here; even what history has left behind may be seen." As for wonders, there is no need to look far: just outside the tower lies a magnificent, extraordinary underwater forest, where colossal trees stand amid shifting tides and strange jellyfish drift and glide. Everything the eye falls upon is a sight never seen before. The finest treasures and most exquisite pleasures under heaven can all be found here, and every desire can be satisfied here. All who come and go cannot help but marvel:

"Given all this, is this truly still the mortal world?"

Faces of the Heart: Everything Has a Price, So What Do You Hold Dear?

Bones melted for joy? A nose like a viper's, trailing after fragrant haunts. A tongue like a wildcat's, greedy for the corpses of the five flavors.

Such extravagance is hard to believe, and no Ranger would think a single invitation could make them a guest of honor for life. [Weiyang City] has stood for many years and has received countless distinguished guests. Fortunes rise and fall, and the way to survive here comes down, in the end, to six words: "trade what you have for what you need." Everything has a price, and as long as you are willing to trade, you might really go on living like this forever. Every exploration a Ranger makes here can become a clue to sell. The couriers of the Feiliu Zhouyi post need your boundary marker clues to help them develop stations and routes, and the chefs who have come from across the seas need your culinary compendium so that their authentic dishes can stand out... Conversely, Rangers can also pave their own way with the power of "cash": anything with a price tag can be bought, even certain clues and items from the All-Knowing. Depending on what you trade and with whom, you may even change some people's fates through a stroke of luck... Everything has a price, and the world's rare treasures can always be found in [Weiyang City]. Even if you can resist the lure of pleasure and steer clear of the gambling houses that swallow gold, what if there were a deal that could grant your heart's desire, even turn back time and bring back a voice and a face you thought lost? Could you rein in your longing and refuse to stake everything you are on it? Starting with an old friend, Old Jin, Rangers will gradually come to understand the many faces of life here and how this overseas paradise runs. Welcome to Weiyang City. Trade what you have for what you need, until you find the priceless treasure in your heart.

Levels and Story: Seeing One's Nature Is Truth; Wield the Sword to Shatter Delusion

Obsession Takes Shape? The body is like a great fish, forever longing for the murky sea. The mind is like a wild horse, galloping with no rest.

As the Zen saying goes: "Within one's nature, simply be free of the five desires; the instant one sees one's nature is the truth." Truth and illusion, gain and loss, and even the choice between one's original heart and one's desires will run through the entire story of Weiyang City. There will always be those who choose to drift with the tide, and others who seek their true selves. In the all-new side storyline, the Ranger will meet several new friends and, together with them, find the path each wishes to walk. In addition, the Ranger has trials of their own to face. In the first Guardian trial, opening on October 23, the Ranger will ascend the city's [Mirage Tower] to take part in an extraordinary treasure contest. But the tower is so resplendent it verges on the hallucinatory; once fighting breaks out, the real and the false become hard to tell apart. Amid the undercurrents, unexpected dangers lurk everywhere. And at the highest and deepest point, a dazzling, ethereal battle awaits. Beyond the Guardian trial, there are new chapters in the Ranger's legend: break into a cage to rescue someone, or climb to a high place to fulfill a wish. Both cunning and sincerity are indispensable. Two distinctive and extremely dangerous field bosses have also been waiting for a long time. Beyond victory or defeat, you may even glimpse another secret of Weiyang City through them.

There are still many curiosities and wonders to be found in [Weiyang City], and we will bring you more details in the future. Stay tuned for further updates! We have also compiled the key upcoming content updates into a long-form infographic, making it easy for Wanderers to review and share—
