New Boss: Furious Fists Shake All Around, Tempering Valor in the Gentle Flame

2026-09-14 News On September 24, the Wanderer and a host of talented young scholars will formally enroll at the "Pinglan Academy," opening a new chapter in the Jiangnan story. Under the full mid-autumn moon, wandering heroes gather at Pinglan. New stories, new friends, new town guardians, new bosses, and the fully realized "Hangzhou" region hiding many explorable contents... More exciting content lies ahead, waiting for the Wanderer to unlock it personally.

While in "Qingzhou," where mountains and seas converge, at the Wenjin Hall, a grand gathering of young talents is also underway. However, what it reflects is a different style of conduct from the Wenjin Hall—

Brand-New Boss

[Furious Tiger Unrivaled]

The Wenjin Hall has long had a tradition of selecting a Martial Champion through the "Rooftop Contest," and now the latest edition is being held at the Cuju Arena, drawing the attention of all. However, this year's scene is somewhat different from years past. Back then, even though the "Rooftop Contest" was filled with formidable masters, it still emphasized the gentlemanly conduct of stopping at the first sign of victory. But now, this Tiger-Slaying Champion, [Tiger-Fist Meng Ji], shows no restraint at all, refusing to stop until he's beaten his opponent's face crooked and eyes askew. Everyone present is now filled with dread, and no one dares to step forward to challenge him.

Hu Mengji studied under "Divine Fist" Li. By nature he loved to fight fiercely and prized valor, his fist arts fierce and matchless. It was precisely because his master feared he was too fierce and might instead risk harming himself that he sent him to the Wenjin Pavilion to cultivate a calmer temperament.

Whatever the effect of that cultivation may have been, in this Martial Champion Trial he had fought through a hundred battles and found no match. That is, until that wandering knight stepped onto the stage to declare a challenge, reigniting his fighting spirit and interest—

"What courage! Then take a strike from Grandpa Tiger!"

*This is a demonstration of effects still in pre-research development; final results are subject to official launch. Wanderers, don't mistake this Tiger-Slaying Champion for a brute with nothing but raw strength. His boxing skills were learned from a famous master, and he's been in countless fights since childhood, excelling in both technique and real combat adaptability. His fist style is fierce and swift, with endless variations.

*The effects shown are still in preliminary research; the final release shall prevail.

Martial arts emphasize "externally train the sinews, bones, and skin; internally train a breath of true energy," and [Hu Mengji]'s fundamental skills are also extremely solid. When a Ranger grapples with him, if unable to grind down his true energy in one go, he will quickly recover his true energy and continue to launch a storm-like flurry of attacks.

The effects shown are still in research and development; please refer to the final official release.

While the Ranger battles fiercely against him, six other masters are also watching the outcome of this battle with covetous eyes from the sidelines. Among them, there seem to be some familiar faces the Ranger has crossed paths with before. However, meeting again this time, they disregard the "rules of the martial world" and openly join the fight to lend a hand. Could it be that this Martial Arts Champion Trial has a second stage?
